Alignment ECD was started in 2019 by experienced Mining professionals.

We started Alignment ECD because we wanted to create a design and engineering house that was built around our belief in client support and communication. We want to align with our clients to give them the best possible outcomes; outcomes that can only be achieved by partnering our respective expertise. We are proud of the difference that working together with our clients can make.

We chose the name Alignment because it captures the essence of completing a successful project; alignment of goals, alignment of standards, alignment of process and alignment of outcomes.

The ECD came from Engineering, Consulting and Design; three elements, that when combined, can solve any challenge.

Zane Christensen

Zane is a founding Director of Alignment ECD. Zane has extensive experience in both contract and site roles, holding an SSE statutory qualification and previous roles including Mining Manager and Consulting Manager. Zane has a passion for working with teams and solving complex problems creatively, as well as training and mentoring engineers and planners in Dragline design and mine scheduling.
